Sparetimebowling.com was designed to cover the things we enjoy the most, family and friends, bowling and law enforcement. Sparetimebowling.com has grown and we are excited about the new changes and the growth of the site into it's own domain. 

The theme of the page will not change. Bowling, Law Enforcement, Family and Friends, Travel and Dining and beautiful Mainz will continue to be the foundation and hopefully the future will have more great things to write about and photograph.  All of the above categories are joined at the hip. We travel a lot because of bowling, so food, travel, photography and the occasional warning ticket make up this site. In addition, I have provided the Southern Bowling Writers Association with a home page they can be proud of. The friends I have made in this organization do, and have done, so much for our great sport that I am honored to be part of it. Bowling, whether in league or tournaments, constitutes a large part of our spare time. As a bowling writer I have a labor of love. Great people in a great sport.

We live in such a disposable society today that family is becoming an "old fashioned" notion. We have been married for 42 years and have three great children, Keith, Mark and Vikki and they have blessed us with eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Law enforcement has taken up forty years of my life and Vikki is with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

We love German Shepherds and own a beautiful one named Niki. We found her with Orumhaus Kennels and she is wonderful.

G.G.’s homeland will bring the beauty of Germany to your screen.
